NHL: All-Star Game 2018 – Best games
The NHL All-Stars have been announced for the 2018-19 season and the game will be played at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The game will feature players from across the league and includes players who have won multiple Stanley Cup championships, the most recent being the 2016-17 team that reached the Final Four.
The league’s All-Time leading scorer, Sidney Crosby, will be honored at the opening ceremony of the game.
Crosby was the first player in NHL history to score more than 1,500 points in his first six seasons.
“We’re excited to play in front of our fans in a place where we know we can compete with the best,” NHL President Brendan Shanahan said.
“I’m really looking forward to playing in front a great crowd in front to be able to see all the players on the ice and hopefully get a few smiles from our fans.”
This is the first NHL All/Away All-Season Game since the 2011-12 season, when the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-3 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
This will be the first time that the All-Staples Center will host an All-star game.
The previous All-Sports Center event was held in New York’s Madison Square Garden in the summer of 2015.
The All-Inning Game will be held on March 1 at 7 p.m.
PT (5 p.g., 8 p.a., 7 p, 9 p., 7:30 p.l.).
The game will also be televised nationally on NBCSN and streamed live on NHL.com.
